Terms and Conditions of the “PLN 500 Each for You and Your Friend” Promotion

organised by companies of the StudentSpace group of companies, concerning accommodation at StudentSpace student residences

1. All capitalised terms shall have the meaning given to them in Appendix 1 to these Terms and Conditions (Definitions). The Appendix forms an integral part of these Terms and Conditions.
2. The Promotion is organised by the following companies of the StudentSpace group: SGE PropCo 1, SGE PropCo 2, SGE PropCo 3 and SGE PropCo 5 (each individually referred to as the “Organiser”). The Organiser in relation to a given Referred Person, and also in relation to the Referrer as regards the Reward due in connection with the Accommodation Agreement concluded by that Referred Person, is exclusively the company that is a party to the Accommodation Agreement concluded with the Referred Person. Each Organiser is liable solely for its own obligations arising under these Terms and Conditions. The Organisers’ liability is not joint and several.
3. If, during the Promotion Period, a new Accommodation Agreement concerning the accommodation of a New Customer at the StudentSpace 29 Listopada Student Residence, the StudentSpace Wita A Student Residence, the StudentSpace Wita B Student Residence or the StudentSpace Wołoska Student Residence is concluded using a Referral Code: (i) the person who concluded that Accommodation Agreement (the “Referred Person”) shall receive a discount of PLN 500 gross on the All-Inclusive Fee due for the first month of accommodation, regardless of the room type and the accommodation period selected (the “Discount”), and (ii) the Referrer for whom that Referral Code was generated shall receive a reward in the form of a gift card with a value of PLN 500, as described in Point 11 (the “Reward”), on the terms set out in these Terms and Conditions (the “Promotion”).
4. Participation in the Promotion is conditional on the cumulative satisfaction of the following requirements: (i) generation of a Referral Code in accordance with Point 5, (ii) the Referred Person’s conclusion of an Accommodation Agreement during the Promotion Period and within the validity period of the Referral Code, (iii) entry of the Referral Code in the course of concluding the Accommodation Agreement, in accordance with the rules set out in Point 6, and (iv) satisfaction of the New Customer criteria set out in Point 7 by the person who is to be accommodated under the Accommodation Agreement. Entitlement to the Reward is additionally conditional on satisfaction of the requirements set out in Point 10. No more than one Discount is available in respect of any one person accommodated, regardless of the number of Accommodation Agreements concluded during the Promotion Period. The Promotion applies exclusively to new agreements concluded during the Promotion Period.
5. A Referral Code may be obtained by a natural person who, on the day on which it is generated, is a party to an Accommodation Agreement in force (including an agreement under which accommodation has not yet started) or a person accommodated under such an agreement concluded by their guardian (the “Referrer”). To this end, the Referrer shall send a message to hello@studentspace.pl from the e-mail address provided in the Accommodation Agreement or assigned to the Referrer’s account in the student portal. In response, the Referrer shall receive, at the e-mail address from which the message was sent, an individual referral code assigned to the Referrer (the “Referral Code”), together with information on its validity period. A Referral Code: (i) is valid until the end of the third day following the day on which it was sent to the Referrer, but no longer than until the end of the Promotion Period (for example, a Referral Code sent on a Monday is valid until the end of Thursday), (ii) may be used only once, to conclude one Accommodation Agreement, and (iii) may not be used by the Referrer for whom it was generated. The Referrer may obtain further Referral Codes, including to replace a Referral Code whose validity period has expired.
6. In order to make use of the Promotion, the Referred Person shall enter the Referral Code in the field designated for the promotional code during the process of concluding the Accommodation Agreement via the website www.studentspace.pl. The Referral Code cannot be applied after the Accommodation Agreement has been concluded. Failure to enter the Referral Code during the process of concluding the Accommodation Agreement precludes participation in the Promotion by both the Referred Person and the Referrer. Only one Referral Code may be applied to any one Accommodation Agreement. The Promotion cannot be combined with any other promotions, discounts or promotional codes offered by the Organisers in respect of the Accommodation Agreement concluded by the Referred Person.
7. The Promotion is addressed to consumers – natural persons who intend to conclude a new Accommodation Agreement at the StudentSpace 29 Listopada Student Residence, the StudentSpace Wita A Student Residence, the StudentSpace Wita B Student Residence or the StudentSpace Wołoska Student Residence, concerning the accommodation of a New Customer, and, as regards the Reward, to Referrers. A new customer is a person who, before concluding the Accommodation Agreement using the Referral Code, had neither previously been a party to an accommodation agreement concerning any StudentSpace student residence (including an agreement under which accommodation had not yet started) nor previously been accommodated at a StudentSpace student residence under an agreement concluded by another person, in particular by their guardian (a “New Customer”). If the person who is to be accommodated is not a New Customer, the Organiser may refuse to apply the Discount by notifying the Referred Person thereof within 14 days of the date on which the Accommodation Agreement was concluded. Irrespective of the foregoing, the Reward is not due if the person who is to be accommodated is not a New Customer.
8. The Promotion applies to Accommodation Agreements concluded until 30 November 2026 (inclusive) (the “Promotion Period”).
9. The Discount is a reduction of PLN 500 gross in the All-Inclusive Fee due for the first calendar month of the accommodation period under the Accommodation Agreement concluded by the Referred Person, and is reflected in the invoice for the All-Inclusive Fee for that month. If the All-Inclusive Fee due for that month is lower than PLN 500, the remaining part of the Discount shall reduce the All-Inclusive Fee due for the following month. The Discount applies exclusively to the All-Inclusive Fee and does not apply to any other payments due under the Accommodation Agreement, in particular the Administrative Fee, the Deposit and – if applicable – the fee for the use of a parking space. If an invoice does not reflect the Discount in full, the Organiser shall issue a corrective invoice without undue delay and shall refund the overpaid amount to the Referred Person or – at the Referred Person’s request – credit it towards subsequent payments. The Discount may not be exchanged for cash, and the Referred Person is not entitled to any cash equivalent or other form of compensation in lieu of the Discount.
10. The Referrer is entitled to the Reward if, in respect of the Accommodation Agreement concluded using a Referral Code generated for the Referrer, the conditions set out in Point 4 have been met and, in addition: (i) the Accommodation Start Date has occurred, and (ii) the Referred Person has paid the All-Inclusive Fee for the first calendar month of the accommodation period, reduced by the Discount. The Reward is not due if, before these conditions are met, the Referred Person has withdrawn from the Accommodation Agreement or that agreement has expired or been terminated. The Promotion may be used more than once – the Referrer is entitled to one Reward for each Accommodation Agreement concluded using a Referral Code generated for the Referrer.
11. The Reward is a gift card in electronic form with a nominal value of PLN 500, entitling the holder to purchase goods or services from the following providers: IKEA, UBER, ZALANDO, ALLEGRO. The Referrer may choose a gift card from among the providers listed in the preceding sentence. If the eligible Referrer does not indicate a provider, the Organiser shall be entitled to choose the gift card provider unilaterally. The Organiser shall send the Reward to the Referrer at the e-mail address from which the Referrer requested the generation of the Referral Code, within 30 days of the date on which the conditions set out in Point 10 were met, together with information on the issuer of the gift card, the rules for its use and its validity period. The Reward may not be exchanged for cash or for a reward of another kind, and the right to the Reward may not be transferred to another person.
12. Where the Accommodation Agreement is concluded by the guardian of the person who is to be accommodated, the rights granted to the Referred Person under these Terms and Conditions shall be exercised by that guardian as the party to the Accommodation Agreement, and the condition referred to in Point 4(iv) shall relate to the person accommodated.
13. These Terms and Conditions are made available on the website www.studentspace.pl before the Accommodation Agreement is concluded, in a manner that enables them to be downloaded, stored and reproduced. If the Accommodation Agreement is concluded using a Referral Code, these Terms and Conditions form an integral part of it. In matters not governed by these Terms and Conditions, the provisions of the Accommodation Agreement shall apply, and in the event of any inconsistency, the provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
14. The Organisers may amend these Terms and Conditions, including by extending the Promotion Period. An amendment to these Terms and Conditions shall take effect on the date of its publication on the website www.studentspace.pl or on a later date specified in the announcement of the amendment, and shall apply only to Referral Codes generated on or after the date on which it takes effect.
15. Complaints regarding the Promotion may be submitted to the e-mail address: hello@studentspace.pl. A complaint should contain data enabling identification of the person submitting it and a description of the reservations raised. The Organiser shall examine the complaint and respond within 14 days of its receipt, to the e-mail address from which the complaint was sent.
16. The controller of the Referred Person’s personal data processed in connection with the Promotion is the Organiser that is a party to the Accommodation Agreement concluded with the Referred Person. The controller of the Referrer’s personal data is the Organiser that is a party to the Accommodation Agreement concluded by the Referrer or concerning the Referrer’s accommodation and, as regards the granting and delivery of the Reward, also the Organiser that is a party to the Accommodation Agreement concluded with the Referred Person. Personal data are processed for the purpose of conducting the Promotion, including generating Referral Codes, verifying that the conditions of the Promotion are met, applying the Discount, granting and delivering the Reward and handling complaints, on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) and (f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR), and for the purpose of fulfilling the legal obligations incumbent on the Organiser, including tax obligations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR). The Referrer does not receive the Referred Person’s personal data, but only information that the Reward has been granted in connection with the use of a Referral Code generated for the Referrer. 17. These Terms and Conditions shall enter into force on 21 October 2026 and shall apply to Referral Codes generated and Accommodation Agreements concluded during the Promotion Period.
