Terms and Conditions of the “Try StudentSpace – 14 Days Without the All-Inclusive Fee” Promotion
Terms and Conditions of the “Try StudentSpace – 14 Days Without the All-Inclusive Fee” Promotion organised by companies of the StudentSpace group of companies, concerning accommodation at StudentSpace student residences
All capitalised terms shall have the meaning given to them in Appendix 1 to these Terms and Conditions (Definitions). The Appendix forms an integral part of these Terms and Conditions.
The Promotion is organised by the following companies of the StudentSpace group: SGE PropCo 1, SGE PropCo 2, SGE PropCo 3 and SGE PropCo 5 (each individually referred to as the “Organiser”). The Organiser in relation to a given Accommodated Person is exclusively the company that is a party to the Accommodation Agreement concluded with that person. Each Organiser is liable solely for its own obligations arising under these Terms and Conditions. The Organisers’ liability is not joint and several.
If an Accommodated Person concludes a new Accommodation Agreement during the Promotion Period using the “FREE14” Code, concerning accommodation at the StudentSpace 29 Listopada Student Residence, the StudentSpace Wita A Student Residence, the StudentSpace Wita B Student Residence or the StudentSpace Wołoska Student Residence, the Accommodated Person: (i) shall not be required to pay the All-Inclusive Fee for the Trial Period (the “Fee Waiver”), and (ii) shall be entitled to terminate that Accommodation Agreement until the end of the Trial Period, without giving any reason (the “Opt-Out Right”), on the terms set out in these Terms and Conditions (the “Promotion”).
Participation in the Promotion is conditional on the cumulative satisfaction of the following requirements: (i) the Accommodated Person’s conclusion of an Accommodation Agreement during the Promotion Period, (ii) entry of the Code in the course of concluding the Accommodation Agreement, in accordance with the rules set out in Point 5, and (iii) satisfaction of the New Customer criteria set out in Point 6 by the person who is to be accommodated under the Accommodation Agreement. No more than one Fee Waiver and one Opt-Out Right are available in respect of any one person accommodated, regardless of the number of Accommodation Agreements concluded during the Promotion Period. The Promotion applies exclusively to new agreements concluded during the Promotion Period.
In order to make use of the Promotion, the Code must be entered in the field designated for the promotional code during the process of concluding the Accommodation Agreement via the website www.studentspace.pl. The Code cannot be applied after the Accommodation Agreement has been concluded. The Promotion cannot be combined with any other promotions, discounts or promotional codes offered by the Organisers. Failure to enter the Code during the process of concluding the Accommodation Agreement precludes participation in the Promotion.
The Promotion is addressed to consumers – natural persons who intend to conclude a new Accommodation Agreement at the StudentSpace 29 Listopada Student Residence, the StudentSpace Wita A Student Residence, the StudentSpace Wita B Student Residence or the StudentSpace Wołoska Student Residence, concerning the accommodation of a New Customer. A new customer is a person who, before concluding the Accommodation Agreement using the Code, had neither been a party to an accommodation agreement concerning any StudentSpace student residence (including an agreement under which accommodation had not yet started) nor been accommodated at a StudentSpace student residence under an agreement concluded by another person, in particular by their guardian (a “New Customer”). If the person who is to be accommodated is not a New Customer, the Organiser may refuse to apply the Fee Waiver by notifying the Accommodated Person thereof no later than 7 days before the end of the Trial Period. In such a case, the Accommodated Person retains the Opt-Out Right, except that the All-Inclusive Fee is payable for the period up to the date of termination of the Accommodation Agreement.
The Promotion applies to Accommodation Agreements concluded in the period from 9 October 2026 to 31 October 2026 (inclusive) (the “Promotion Period”).
The trial period begins on the Accommodation Start Date and expires at the end of the fourteenth day following that date (the “Trial Period”). For example, if the Accommodation Start Date is 20 October 2026, the Trial Period expires at the end of 3 November 2026. The Fee Waiver covers only the All-Inclusive Fee due for the Trial Period. Other payments provided for in the Accommodation Agreement, in particular the Administrative Fee, the Deposit and – if applicable – the fee for the use of a parking space, are due on the terms set out in the Accommodation Agreement. The Fee Waiver may not be exchanged for cash, and the Accommodated Person is not entitled to any cash equivalent or other form of compensation in lieu of the Fee Waiver, including in the event of termination of the Accommodation Agreement before the end of the Trial Period.
In order to exercise the Opt-Out Right, the Accommodated Person shall submit to the Organiser a notice of termination of the Accommodation Agreement in documentary form (forma dokumentowa), by sending an e-mail to: hello@studentspace.pl, no later than on the last day of the Trial Period. The deadline is met if the notice is sent before it expires. The notice should contain data enabling identification of the Accommodated Person and the Accommodation Agreement, in particular the Accommodated Person’s full name and the agreement number. The notice must be sent from the e-mail address used to conclude the Accommodation Agreement. Exercising the Opt-Out Right does not require observing a notice period or meeting any other termination requirements provided for in the Accommodation Agreement.
If the Opt-Out Right is exercised: (i) the Accommodation Agreement terminates at the end of the day specified in the Accommodated Person’s notice, but no later than at the end of the last day of the Trial Period, and, if no such day is specified, at the end of the last day of the Trial Period; (ii) no later than on the date of termination of the Accommodation Agreement, the Accommodated Person shall vacate and return the occupied unit on the terms set out in the Accommodation Agreement; (iii) the Organiser shall refund the Deposit on the terms set out in the Accommodation Agreement; (iv) the Administrative Fee is non-refundable.
If the Accommodated Person does not exercise the Opt-Out Right, the Accommodation Agreement shall remain in force after the end of the Trial Period and shall continue to apply on the terms set out therein for the entire term for which it was concluded, and the All-Inclusive Fee shall be payable in the full amount specified in the Accommodation Agreement, subject to Point 12. After the end of the Trial Period, the Accommodation Agreement may be terminated only on the terms set out therein.
If the accommodation continues after the Trial Period, the Fee Waiver shall be reflected in the invoices for the All-Inclusive Fee for the month in which the Trial Period begins and – if the Trial Period expires in the following month – for that following month. The All-Inclusive Fee for the month in which the Trial Period expires amounts to: (number of days of that month falling after the end of the Trial Period / total number of days of that month) × the monthly All-Inclusive Fee specified in the Accommodation Agreement. For example, with a monthly All-Inclusive Fee of PLN 2,600, if the Accommodation Start Date is 20 October 2026, no All-Inclusive Fee is due for October 2026, and the All-Inclusive Fee for November 2026 amounts to 27/30 × PLN 2,600 = PLN 2,340.00. If an invoice does not reflect the Fee Waiver in full, the Organiser shall issue a corrective invoice without undue delay and shall refund the overpaid amount to the Accommodated Person or – at the Accommodated Person’s request – credit it towards subsequent payments. For the remaining months, the Accommodated Person shall bear the costs in full, on the terms and in the amounts specified in the Accommodation Agreement.
Where the Accommodation Agreement is concluded by the guardian of the person who is to be accommodated, the rights granted to the Accommodated Person under these Terms and Conditions, including the Opt-Out Right, shall be exercised by that guardian as the party to the Accommodation Agreement, and the condition referred to in Point 4(iii) shall relate to the person accommodated.
These Terms and Conditions are made available on the website www.studentspace.pl before the Accommodation Agreement is concluded, in a manner that enables them to be downloaded, stored and reproduced. If the Accommodation Agreement is concluded using the Code, these Terms and Conditions form an integral part of it. In matters not governed by these Terms and Conditions, the provisions of the Accommodation Agreement shall apply, and in the event of any inconsistency, the provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
The Organisers may amend these Terms and Conditions, including by extending the Promotion Period. An amendment to these Terms and Conditions shall take effect on the date of its publication on the website www.studentspace.pl or on a later date specified in the announcement of the amendment, and shall apply only to Accommodation Agreements concluded on or after the date on which it takes effect.
Complaints regarding the Promotion may be submitted to the e-mail address: hello@studentspace.pl. A complaint should contain data enabling identification of the Accommodated Person and a description of the reservations raised. The Organiser shall examine the complaint and respond within 14 days of its receipt, to the e-mail address from which the complaint was sent.
The controller of the personal data processed in connection with the Promotion is the Organiser that is a party to the Accommodation Agreement concluded with the given Accommodated Person. Personal data are processed for the purpose of conducting the Promotion, including verifying that its conditions are met, applying the Fee Waiver and handling the Opt-Out Right and the related settlements, and for the purpose of handling complaints, on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) and (f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR), and for the purpose of fulfilling the legal obligations incumbent on the Organiser (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR). These Terms and Conditions shall enter into force on 9 October 2026 and shall apply to Accommodation Agreements concluded during the Promotion Period.
